Blackrock College won the Leinster section of the Irish Schools Strokeplay Championship at Woodbrook last Thursday overcoming last year's Leinster champions from St. Mary's C.B.S, Enniscorthy.

Paul Dunne accomplished level par rounds of 72 to take the
title by 3 shots from Saint Mary’s C.B.S, who comprised of 2010 Junior Captain Diarmuid Cullen, Sean Mernagh and Graham Donohoe all members at Enniscorthy Golf Club with Graham having a great start ot his golfing year. Graham shot the best round on the day with a 2 under par 70. St Patrick’s
Classical School, Navan were placed 3rd on 149 while Saint Fintan’s, Sutton, finished 4th on 152, 3 shots clear of Terenure and St Peter’s.
Blackrock College will go forward to represent Leinster at the National Final in Killarney Golf Club on April 21st.
