Ladies Junior & Intermediate Cups Teams Results

Mallow march into Friday’s final with a win against 2008 Junior Cup Champions Enniscorthy.  Mallow won their first and third match courtesy of Nora O’Connor and Marie O’Sullivan but both were in need of one more win to secure a berth in the final.  However, both Marie Mackey and Ann Kennelly for Mallow were 1 down playing the eighteenth, but with nerves of steel both won their eighteenth hole and Ann went on to win the first tie hole to take the match and set up a final encounter against Dublin City. It was a great achievement for both our Intermediate and Junior teams to get to the semi-finals and it must have been a tremendous battle.
